IntelliProp is pleased to announce it has completed development of its SAS Intellectual Property for SAS Initiator and SAS Target Cores. The SAS protocol is used in higher end data storage systems and is essential for mission critical data storage. Building on our success and experience in the Serial ATA (SATA) market, IntelliProp’s SAS offering continues to showcase our expertise in delivering effective IP solutions for the data storage industry. IntelliProp’s SAS offering reduces the risk and time required to implement SAS in an ASIC or FPGA design. Currently, IntelliProp is offering the SAS IP core at a speed of 1.5GHz and 3.0GHz on the following Altera FPGAs: Arria II and Stratix IV. We are continuing with testing SAS for Xilinx FPGAs.
