SAS cores available supporting latest 6G performance
Longmont, Colorado – August 15, 2012 – IntelliProp, Inc., a leader in innovative semiconductors for Data Storage applications, announced today the availability of licensable SAS (Serial Attached -SCSI) cores with 6G performance. The IntelliProp SAS cores are available for integration into ASIC and FPGA designs. “We are excited to be among the earliest to release fully compliant 6.0 Gb/s SAS cores for use in data storage applications, and we have several lead engagements which are already going to production with our 6G cores” said Hiren Patel, VP of Business Development at IntelliProp.
“Our customers can now take advantage of our fully featured SAS Target and Initiator cores with the latest 6G performance,” continued Patel. The IntelliProp SAS 6G cores are immediately available for ASIC integration and for FPGA development on the Altera and the Xilinx product families.
