IntelliProp, Inc. Announces RS232 IP Core
Synthesizable RS232 IP Core added to IP product offerings

Longmont, Colorado – September 18, 2012 – IntelliProp, Inc., a leader in innovative semiconductors for data storage applications, has announced the availability of a synthesizable RS232 IP Core. This IP core transmits and receives data following the RS232 protocol. This IP core is intended for use in FPGA designs and has the following features:

  • Selectable baud rate
  • Selectable parity bit (odd or even)
  • Selectable stop bits
  • Two FIFOs acting as buffers between the I/O processor
  • Adjustable sample firmware.

The RS232 IP core is useful in debugging code during development and is used in applications requiring serial data transmission.

The RS232 IP Core is available today for development on Altera FPGA platforms.
